Preschool curriculum is based on a child-centered program. The
child's interests are tapped and used to move our activities for the day,
week, month and even the year. It emerges from discussions the group
has about questions or topics. The teachers will guide the
children's discussions to help decide what is most important. There
is time to revisit topics in large and small groups to deepen the interest
and define where the topic should go next. There is time for work in
centers around the classroom as well as outdoor play. The children
will have opportunities to explore their world in a variety of ways.
The
program will follow the interests of the children while being guided
by the staff. This project-based curriculum will include the

Child care
is an extension of the preschool curriculum. Children will have time
to work in centers as well as group play with
large muscle equipment. This is also time for breakfast and quiet
conversation with teachers and friends. The end of the day will be
focused on a review of the days activities.
